OOOHHH my dear Debbie … you can't feel how much I understand you in this minute. Excuse my erratic english, but I'm french speaking from Belgium and I try to do my best HUM HUM
I'm 48 and diagnose BPD only for 2 years … life of misery … alcohool, sex abuse, "work war" and so on and so on a pure BPD +++++ latent homosexuality … so, I'm married with a nice guy, but all that is so difficult, my life is a nightmare, truly. A day is nearly ok, the others are full of emptiness, full of sadness, full of madness, full of nothing. I understand that, I understand the pain I do to others, I understand I'm not like I must be … but it's so hard, so hard and I'm so alone alone And my therapist is sometime so hard herself … so, each day is a fight to live, a fight to stay on, a fight against me. Dissociations, lack of empathy, lack of mentalization, lack of awareness, lack of friends, lack of work and so on and so on I fell so alone so BAD
Forgive my words, forgive my egotism, but I'm feel so miserable. I'm a piece of shit for others and I don't do the right things on the rights moment, so, it's my only fault.
KISSES and be proud of yourself Debbie, you deserve it !

I understand about the computer thing – today I couldn't get my homemade smoothy the right consistency or to taste right. Stuck a spoon in the blender to get it mixing right (while the blender was on)…you know where this is going don't you? Long story short: pink smoothy juice all over me, my kitchen walls and floor (we have a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen otherwise it would have been there too, I'm sure) and me, collapsed on the floor in a fetal position crying. But, like you said, there are other stressors going on that I needed to talk to someone about, which I did tonight.
It is so good to read that someone else has similiar reactions to life and even better to read about someone trying to use the same solutions as me 🙂
